About the Band
While many consider RC and the Moonpie Band to be a blues band they are perhaps more accurately described as an American roots band, playing R ‘n B, soul, blues and rock ‘n roll.
RC and The Moonpie Band is based in Green Swamp, North Carolina; home to the American alligator where Spanish moss hangs in the trees and carnivorous plants litter the marshy ground. The members are Robert Marlowe (guitar), T Bone Betourney (drums), Robert “RC” Christian (lead vocals), Mike Logiovino (bass) and Russell Pleasants (backing vocals).
