The relevance of whether or not what this Canadian duo plays is truly blues ought not obscure a much clearer point: they make some extremely inventive and infectious music.  Harmonica player/vocalist Shawn Hall and guitarist Matthew Rogers meld roots, quirkiness and lyrical cleverness in a manner that, for all the peculiarity, is never without an undeniable groove.  Standouts in a very strong set include “Do Whatcha”, “Feel Me Now” and “Cry A Little”.
