Review of Album Good Life

Powerhouse vocals laced with plenty of attitude are in abundance on Hurricane Ruth LaMaster’s current offering.  And that vocal posture provides the proper propulsion for lyrics that typically celebrate a confident persona, one way or another.  A standout track of this sort is “She’s Golden”, possessed as well of a catchy chorus lyric.  Relentless rockers such as “Like Wildfire” and “Dirty Blues” are spelled with evocative ballads- “I’ve Got Your Back” and the title track.
