Review of Album Carryout or Delivery

With an easy-goin’ vocal delivery and a sure-handed piano grip, Cincinnati-based Ben Levin might easily feel at home down NOLA way.  Here he spends much of his time conjuring up a mellow, small group, last-set-of-the-night atmosphere with a noticeably varied, predominantly original set.  The leadoff rocker, “You Know”, should garner attention as should the slow blues “Too Good For Me” and the moody, mid-tempo ballad “Some Other Time”.
