Review of Album Too Many Roads

 

Whether churning up an acoustic storm or facing off a full-force horn section, Mr. Risager’s husky pipes can fill the room.  The Danish vocalist/guitarist proves this time and again on this mostly original set, varied in style but never in voltage.  Kudos for the horn charts also, which are far fresher than most. Strong tracks include “Drowning”, “Backseat Driver”, “Rich Man” and the title track.
