Review of Album The Corner

Early Times’ a-tad edgy vocals lend an added bite to his tales of characters frequenting the tougher part of town.  Blues rock at its core, with the Sacramento-born guitarist/songwriter’s own fiery fretwork to make that case, there are traces of Bruce, Waits and even early electric-era Dylan detectable in a solid and satisfying work.  Standouts include “Come On, Let’s Ride”, “Charlemagne” and “Do What She Do”.
