Review of Album The Forgiver and the Runaway

Hailing from Western Colorado, AJ Fullerton appears to have taken in sounds from other regions to hear the solid soul/rock on display here. The guitarist/songwriter’s unforced sounding vocal delivery works effectively on a succession of lyric sets not short on emotional gut-punches.  Nice small-group instrumental backup throughout.  Standouts include “Healing Takes Time”, “Could Have Been Mine” and “I Cried”.
