Broke Fuse bandleader (if a one-man band has such a thing) Jay Moonah takes his very blues-worthy harmonica through some very unexpected turns on an esoteric romp that may raise the hackles on purists but offers some ear-catching fare just the same. The title track lays a bubbly vocal chorus atop a roots-bound groove, setting up the breezy pop style of the follow-up, “Strawberry Moon”. Other tracks of note include the slow ballad “Stolen Time” and the almost McCartney-esque “Hear the Rain”. A couple of quirky instrumental tracks- ‘Agitation” and “Los Detailes del Diablo”- provide engaging context for the harp as well.
