Review of Album Moe Betta Blues

Kesha Boyd, aka Miss Lady Blues, serves up a satisfying set of vintage-sounding soul and blues, both true to these genres and fresh in delivery.  The ‘Bama-bred, Atlanta-based vocalist and songwriter raises the temp on multiple occasions here on tracks including “She Ain’t Me” and “What I Want”.  The track “Addicted” is a textbook piece of classic soul.  Production throughout is spot on.
