Vocalist Gina McCann and guitarist Johnny Fink provide fire and freshness to a solid small-group sound, serving up a set of nicely crafted collaborations worthy of notice beyond their home Cincinnati turf.  Ms. McCann’s delivery generates appropriate heat and attitude to suit the needs of the song at hand, be it an uptempo romp- “Crazy Kinda Love”, a steamy slow blues- “Free Your Soul” or a minor-keyed mood piece- “Movin’ On”. The tempo-shifting chorus of “Pay Up” should garner it attention.  Nice work.
