Chris Carroll makes her personal romantic travails matter to the listener by way of simple, appealing melodies, a vocal delivery to match and an obvious knack for phrase turning. The Canadian-turned-Texan consistently seals the deal with choruses quick to catch on.  The title track is an airplay candidate and other standouts include “Cause or Cure” and “Just Like That”.
