Once again, RB Stone’s assimilated Southern roots show all the way through a set of lyrically tasty originals.  The Indiana-born, Nashville-based singer/guitarist/harmonica player leans heavily toward the lively side of blues, scoring here with a solid boogie shout-out- “Hill Country Stomp”, a full-throttled roots rocker- “35 Miles to Mobile” and a hard swingin’ mid-tempo slide guitar feature, “Weapons of Mass Persuasion”.  The backup band is suitably raucous.
