Review of Album The Arson's Match

 

Former Stones/John Mayall guitarist Mick Taylor provides just the right amount of fretboard flair to Peter Karp’s lyrically sharp ballads and good-timey blues rockers. Originally recorded for Sirius radio broadcast, this “live” set includes a taste of solid blues harp work from Dennis Gruenling as well.  Standouts include “The Turning Point”, “Gee Chee Gee Chee Wawa” and “Your Prettyness”.
