Review of Album West of Here

The Currys received a huge out pouring of support from fans via crowd funding who wanted to help make sure this album became a reality. Although, I just barely stumbled across their music I would have definitely contributed.

Although I would call their style Folk Rock it doesn’t even come close to covering their range. I could easily see their music in a country or even bluegrass show. West of Here is a good example of a radio worthy album with great song writing and a polished feel.

Standouts: “Hold Me Here”, “Cream and Crimson” and “Tastee-Freez.”
