Review of Album Love, Guns & Money

With an exceptionally masterful studio band to assist her, South Texas singer/songwriter Bianca DeLeon creates compelling chemistry on a “live”-in-the-studio set.  Ms. D.’s vocal warmth and appealingly uncomplicated delivery are constants as she moves from the pulsing incandescence of the leadoff track, “Independence Day”, to the lilting, breezy “I Sang Patsy Cline” to the minor-keyed lament, “Guns And Money”.  Ballads are plentiful, including standouts “The Bottle’s On The Table” and “This Time”.  Guitarist John Immon and keyboardist Radoslav Lorkovic are standouts in the afore-mentioned kick-butt band.
