Backed by a first-rate Austin studio line-up, Finnish-born vocalist Ina Forsman brings an exotic, decidedly seductive edge and abundant heat to an original set of soul/blues and beyond.  Strutting her way through the New Orleans-flavored leadoff track, “Hanging Loose” and an up-tempo (if “down” lyrically) soul ballad, “Pretty Messed Up”, her songwriting savvy additionally lends itself to sophisticated departures- the moody, minor-keyed “Bubbly Kisses” and “Devil May Dance Tonight”.  Other solid, soulful fare present are “Don’t Hurt Me Now” and “Now You Want Me Back”.
