Wherever the emotional equivalent of the solar plexus resides, Courtney Granger lands punches early and often on a particularly potent set of classic country heart scorchers.  The experienced Cajun fiddler/guitarist's convincing vocal delivery never fails to hit the mark on gems including the George Jones-popularized title track and “Mr. Fool”, the Mel Street hit “Lovin’ On Back Streets” and the leadoff track, Hazel Dickens’ “Don’t Put Her Down, You Helped Put Her There”.
