Ms. Lynn growls and shouts her way through a high-spirited and particularly tuneful set of old school blues, drawing heavily on material from greats including Big Mama Thornton, Johnny Copeland, Lowell Fulsom and others.  While the Houston-based blues diva covers others impressively throughout the set, it’s her own “Thru Chasin’ You” that could snatch early airplay honors.  Keyboardist Randy Wall stands out in the rock-solid studio band.
