Review of Album More Than a Little

Adrian Krygowski’s quick-step vocal delivery keeps one on one’s aural toes keeping up with the sharpness of his lyrics; the task made quite palatable by the offhand character of that delivery and the street poet sensibility that coexists with his lyrical smarts.  He and fiddler ace/partner Meredith wrap the results in a captivating weave of roots styles from country to swing to gypsy jazz and then some, creating an air part coffeehouse, part medicine show, part cabaret.  Standouts include “Birthday Cakes”, “Take A Boat” and “Greasy Coat + Kitchen Girl”.
