Review of Album With the Sun

By the time the chorus comes around a second time, one might easily find themselves jumping right in on one of Sunny War’s songs.  Infectious phrasing fuses with smart, potent lyrics track after track.  The Nashville-born, LA-based singer/guitarist’s vocals emit some of the warmest, earthy vibes this side of Joan Armatrading.  Standouts on an extremely strong set include “I’m Human”, “Til I’m Dead” and “If It Ain’t Broken”
