Jackson Emmer’s dusky, Prine-like vocals provide a most suitable vehicle for a set abundant with throwback-themed originals and collaborations. An unassuming delivery and understated knack for the clever line grow more appealing with repeated listening, enhancing the old school, story-song character of “Dreamers and Fools” and the title-tells-it-all “At The Bottle Again”.  Other tracks of note include “Don’t Leave Me Blue”, “Making Eggs” and “Flowers”.
