Rachelle Coba mostly maintains a steady, highly soulful simmer throughout this tough small-group set, bolstering her robust vocals with a notch-above lyrical knack.  The leadoff rocker, “High And Dry” gives way to the smart, steamy “Dance These Blues Away”.  “You Stole My Heart” rates as one of this year’s strongest soul ballads. Soundin’ good as well are “Good Ole Heartbreak” and “Bad Reputation”.
