Tenor-ranged vocalist Kat Danser spells this mostly warm-hearted, good-timey set with a tantalizingly moody, minor-keyed affair, “Kansas City Blues”, the sadly charming “My Town” and the deliberately disturbing “Light The Flame”. Understated, primarily acoustic backup is top-notch throughout.
