Portland-based singer-songwriter Clara Baker has been “trying to find moments of belief.” In songs like “Doubt” and “A Memory,” Baker’s pleas resonate with conviction. Her music has compelling narratives, yet is also moody, meditative and even somewhat melancholic. “More than Enough” has a nice full sound for radio play with the inclusion of Jeffrey Martin’s harmony vocals and Anna Tivel’s violin and harmony vocals.  Baker’s music is deliberate, with instrumentation of guitar, bass and drums accentuating the songs’ anxiety-ridden text.   (Joe Ross, Roots Music Report)
