With vivid word-pictures and emotional nerve endings too close to the surface to ignore, Terry Klein talk-sings his way through a thoroughly captivating set.  Observations both external- “Sagamore Bridge” and internal- “Oklahoma”, “Every Other Sunday”- come through with consistent clarity and clout.  The Austin session backup is first-rate. So far, one of this year’s very best.
