Much like Mark Knopfler, Adam Karch provides robust vocals to go with his considerable fretboard dazzle.  The Montreal-bred guitarist/vocalist here is stylistically strong on both electric and acoustic and takes on the risky bet of covering classics-  J.J. Cale’s “After Midnight”, Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright”- with pleasing results.  His co-penned “In The Wintertime” is perhaps well positioned psychologically if not chronologically and the chorus of the title track seems timely as well.
